Once Weisler realizes that Dreyman is a good man, he becomes sympathetic to Dreyman and Christa, and he slowly began to change his idea on whether he is doing the reclaim thing. I think this was a keen film, and it reminds me of movies that Ive seen before. This film reminds me of a film that I saw named Utomlyonye Solntsem, that followed a precedent Red army officer that was alter by the enormous Purge.

Both movies show how no one is free from the paranoia that occurs during communist regimes. Citizens during these times were not safe, if you were suspected of point the smallest opposition you were investigated. completely it took was one word that hinted opposition to the wrong person and you would be taken c ar of.
