It generally brings formal frameworks or methodologies to identify problems or suggest more effective or efficient ways of performing business tasks. If given a management consultation by a potential client, then I would start the consultation work immediately. This would involve a number of approach and steps to follow in order to fully identify the real problem with the firm.
